When I "destroy" a layer...I am scraping away bits and pieces...little windows into the underlayers. I am still allowing the beautiful layer to exist- it just needs to make some room for the chaos.
Building up the layers, with this back and forth play between the elements of beauty and destruction, creates a very lush and rich piece of art. It is my crazy process and instead of fighting it (like I did in the past), I am learning to embrace and love it! ;-)
