Oh these are SO cool! That one guy in the upper middle is downright diabolical looking!!! My grandmother was big on elves and pixies and I remember some of the ceramic ones... which might possibly still be around up at my Mom's... they used to give me nightmares when I'd sleep at her house... especially the elf head cookie jar for some reason. I think because it was just a head floating up there on the shelf. LOL!!!
Hey you guyz.. I've been saving the vintage WHO tapes for the perfect relaxed marathon moment... tonight's the night!!!! WAHOO!!!! I can smell the popcorn already! HUGS and HUGE THANKS again! Oh and I've been real bad.... but the last WHO episodes are finally on the way. Guess I'm not gonna get the final episode and I've waited long enough for them to air it again. Maybe they'll run a marathon just before the new season and I'll be able to catch it then :-(
YES!!! That Elf scared the crap out of me when I unpacked him!!! LOL..... I've seen the Elf Head cookie jar...it's cute! I can understand though, how a decapitated, hollow Elf Head sitting on your Grandma's kitchen shelf would be disturbing! ;-)
I've had a lot of Elf nightmares over the years...one time, I dreamt that about 100 knee hugger elves jumped out of some dimensional portal that was in my wall and they all came running after me, jingling their bells and as they got closer they grew bigger!!! Ahhhhhhhhh...Elf nigyhtmares are the worst! LOL... :-D
Elves, The Burger King Guy, Ronald McDonald...they all remind me of Clowns...which scare and creep me out! ;-)
PS: Those recent Burger King commercials...where he has the BIG head and is just standing there staring in peoples windows, not blinking, watching them as they sleep are especially CREEPY! LOL...
I adore those neat old things that I find! ;-) It's soooo much fun, playing with them! :-)
I have a really cute little white elf with a very tall, pointy hat and tinsel. I display him diffrently every Christmas. I also have a crazy vintage elf ornament that is "humping a sequined candycane"! LOL... Elves are so sillllly! :-P (You can see pics of my elves if you follow the Christmas tag link)
Haunted elves...hmmmmmmmm...now that's a great idea! LOL... :-D
