I've already read and re-read almost every Tom Robbins book! ;-)

Charles De Lint has written a lot of books...any favorites? Would any of his books be suitable for Malachi?

Actually, it's kind of hard to find, but I think he'd like Svaha. It's different from most of his books. It's kind of a spiritual cyberpunk novel and kind of more sci-fi than fantasy.

Here's a decent explanation of it.

I just did an ebay search for "svaha" and found it for as cheap as 75 cents! I may get a copy for myself.

The other books are very good, and usually deal with Faerie magick seeping into the modern world, but a lot of times it takes darker forms that must be cleansed. They tend to go into deep emotional territory. Svaha goes somewhat deep, but I think it's considerably lighter than most of his stuff.
I think you'd like his other books though.
