A customer just e-mailed me last night, saying that they just received their painting and absolutely LOVE it and want to know when I'll be offering up more artwork. (SOON...VERY SOON!) It always makes my heart sing when people freak out over my work! It adds fuel to my fire! :-) I painted all day yesterday. I had a really good and enjoyable session ( Read more... )

Thank you! :-) Why is it such a struggle to just surrender to the process!??? Making art for process is soooo much more pleasurable and rewarding!!! It's hard, taking that first step off that high cliff and free falling...trusting in the process to catch you... when actually it does more than catches you- it gives you WINGS! ;-)

EWwwwwwwwwwwww.... those are the deadly sins that MUST BE OVERCOME every time an artist sets out to do art!!! (At least, I find that to be true for myself!) No wonder most people don't want to be artists...it's a lot of freaking work and RISK TAKING!!! ;-)

Thanks, Sweety! :-) I'm working my butt off...pushing for the next breakthrough...I think I broke through, babe!!! I'm looking at the piece I'm working on right now and it reminds me of roots, geodes and the surface of Jupiter! LOVE that organic stuff!!! I really can't think of a better thing to paint about...God is the ultimate artist who is constantly inspiring me! :-)
