As a "good job on getting a job" reward/present, Morgan just helped me adopt a new member to our family.

She is a Winter White dwarf hamster, and while this is not a picture of her (this is a picture of another Winter White, a male named Jasper), they are very similar in appearance:

My little girl is so cute, and she's such a little sweetheart. :)

My pets help keep me alive - honestly, if it weren't for them, I might have lost control earlier - they can't survive if they don't have someone to provide for them, and that someone is me.

I really want to get some pictures of her - she really is a beautiful little girl, my Silver Belle, my Belle of the Winter Ball. :) I'll send you copies, if you'd like them? :)

that's a really darling critter, I can certainly see falling head over heels is very easy. We've never had rodents (way too many felines) maybe when all of our present loves leave us (God or Nature was not kind when the lives of our animals are so short) I might get a darling little guy like that. How long od they live?

*smiles happily* She's a sweetheart! Winter Whites are actually calmer and more social than the other dwarf hamster species. The night I met (and adopted) Belle, I also met a couple Roborovski hamsters - they're the smallest of the dwarf species, and they are fast. Actually... I think I'm going to make another post about this, so hold on to that thought, and read my next post. :)
