I have POWER!!!!!!!!!!! I can take a hot shower! For 24hrs if I wanted to! (Though, I won't. It'd dry out my skin.)

We actually brought out bullhorns and other noisemakers to celebrate the end of darkness. And so did our neighbors. :-)

How long were you without power? Was it hot in your building?

I was without power for 3 days. FOrtunately, the hurricane brought with it a severe cold front which cooled Miami down into the 60s, so I could have my windows open. :-)

Skin

And dry skin is the worst. Especially when you hit the beach all the time. I'd imagine no one with dry skin leaves their home.
