Hex: obsessed? Moi?

Jun 21, 2006 17:46

I've been stuck sick in bed pretty much since Saturday afternoon (respiratory infection), and as a result, I've found a new obsession - the British show Hex, which airs now on BBC America. After two episodes I found I just needed to see the rest a bit quicker than one ep a week, so kind (and indulgent) Husband managed to download all of Season 1 ( Read more... )

No idea - husband is the torrent expert - I'll ask him and get him to email them to you. I can guess your work email address, but is there another email you'd rather I use?

After you watch, come and read and see if you agree :-)

i'm watching the last ep of season one and I can't concentrate on anything except that Thelma suddenly has different hair.
But since I know that Cassie is going to die, I don't really want to keep watching season 2.
It's so completely different from Buffy that I honestly (stupidly, and strangely) didn't even think of the comparison.

You hit the nail on the head!!!! I became a huge fan watching BBC-A and recently bought the season 1 DVD. I have watched the Cassie/Azazeal scenes too many times to count now!!! I too keep fast forwarding through the ohter crap!! I agree with every comment you made. I think the only thing I would like to say in a slight defense of the show is that I think if Christina Cole had not left the story woudl have gone differently and maybe alot of our complaints would not have been an issue, except for the rushing of Cassie and Azazeals relationship. THe really have such chemistry. I would love to see them in something else together inteh future. I am glad I am not the only obsesses american fan!! Tina

Hi Tina!

I agree that if Christina had not left, the second season might have been much much better - and when I wrote the review above, I didn't know that it was Christina's choice to leave, not the writers'. But that being said - I still think they rushed the Cassie/Azazeal relationship too quickly in the first season. I would love to have seen it develop over a 12-ep season - it would have given Cassie a chance to genuinely fall in love with him, and to have more conflict over her feelings.

Thanks for the comment!
