Father's Day

I'm trying to find something nice to send my father for Father's Day - he's not really into "Hallmark" holidays, but I like to at least acknowledge it, because I love him and it's an opportunity to remind him that he's loved.

For the opera fan, a nice DVD, such as Gardiner's recent version of Les Troyens. It's stunning, perhaps the best opera DVD out there.

In the Great-British-Comedies-Americans-Might-Not-Know-About category: you might want to get him "Yes [Prime] Minister", "The League of Gentlemen", "The Mighty Boosh", or maybe "Black Books".

He and my step-mother are HUGE fans of "Yes Minister" and "Yes Prime Minister" - don't about the others - I'll read up on them!
