The most interesting/odd book I've found at an Airport Book seller was a book of random numbers. several hundred pages. 4 column's per page of 4 digit numbers.. It was for use by computer programmers, who needed to generate random events before random number generators were truly up to the task.

Looking back, I wonder if the first 4 numbers were 4 8 15 16 23 42.
