finallyTonight, I have things to say. I have things to say, here, with my teeth unfolding like petals and my tongue wet with siren's spit. I've had things to say for weeks, months, maybe even years. Oodles and loads of things that bear remarkable characteristics and lap at the base of my spine. The meat there is the sweetest, and I've always ( Read more... )

Thank you so much for saying that about my writing. I feel a little rusty writing here since it's been a while. It's not that I stopped writing, though. I kept up in the blood-red notebook that I tote with me damn near everywhere. It's still different than writing and knowing someone--or in this case, many someones--is going to snatch up your words with critical hands and eyes.

Your icon gives me a happy little toe-curl. Waterhouse is one of my favourites. Isn't that the artist in your icon?

A long time a go I fancied myself a writer, but somewhere along the way I began feeling like I didn't have anything of significance to send out into the universe and I stopped. Now, 10 years later, I find myself surprised at how having the livejournal has encouraged my writing again. In a beaded pink notebook I make up little stories about the lives people who pass me by on the waterfront, a funny situation at work that I'd like to share later with my peeps, the elaborate way I fall down in the shower, or the dream I had the other night about the most delicious plum in the world ( ... )

Good to hear from you again, my friend.

Love? I hope it never ends for you.

hi, hi, and hi! muse November 26 2005, 05:28:10 UTC
Thank you, Paul. We were talking just now, but you got quiet on me. What's going on?

And love, I hope you always have it, too. I've always said that I am better when I am in love. It's not that I need love to complete me; I'm a complete girl on my very own. I'm just one of those people that lives to love with all her heart. Sappy but true.

Thanks a heap, sweet-cheeks!

How'd you know the simians are one of my weaknesses? Your icon says it all!
