1) how did you become an American adolescent without reading Catcher In The Rye?

2) The Great Gatsby and Heart of Darkness were part of Lincoln's English curriculum. Did you not read them?

1) Catcher In The Rye - I must have missed this one. I blame Jesuit High School.

2) The Great Gatsby - Yet again, I blame Jesuit.
Heart of Darkness - I totally read this in Mr. Hart's class. I guess I must have not read the list very closely. Although, I remember not understanding the book at all so it is rather fitting.
