Going off to New Orleans

Yep in just a little while I'll be heading off to the airport to go to New Orleans for Thom and Carolyn's wedding. It does indeed promise to be a good time, but I am also thinking that it will be a bit of a bittersweet time as well just based on Thom and I's history and the whole being a single girl in a sea of couples thing. Note to friends

Also, by law, you have to go to Cafe' Du Monde and have a beignet.

You might want to take a ferry ride over from the french quarter and walk around Angier's Point... it has beautiful houses(and a killer breakfast resturant).

Well the wedding is Saturday so I think that rules out roller derby. I defintely plan on having a beignet or two at Cafe Du Monde and having a few drinks and buying some pralines and other fun things.
