Came home from work feeling crap. I've had a cold/respiratory illness since last week, and it managed to get worse on the weekend such that I had to cancel on stitch and bitch yesterday. So after doing an experiment this morning I came home. And promptly developed a hell of a sinus headache. So I was lying in bed feeling miserable and frustrated ( Read more... )

The yoga makes as much sense as the nurofen- most head aches are cause by increased blood pressure caused by stress, either physical (such as illness) or mental and yoga not only relaxes but helps circulation.

I used to be able to think away headaches. Particularly bad ones and migraines I would have to stop and focus and it would at least ease but often get rid off them.

Prolly still can but I dont really get them any more unless Im REALLY hungover and then Im too distracted by my churning gut to do much about it... :p

Yup. I know that technique. I try and focus on where it is and imagine it sliding away.. sometimes it helps!

That's awesome that you don't get headaches much anymore. I used to get migraines and now they've magically melted away for the last several years (touches closest bit of wood), though my sister still suffers regularly.

Hangover headaches are awful! Unless you can remember the night before in which case you can probably smile at how fun it was :)
