Not that Akira has any other baseline to compare it to, since he's has only had morning afters with one, single person, and he has a feeling that an after anything with Shindou Hikaru is destined to be different to an after anything with anyone else.
Yet, from what he can tell from his limited experience, and from the talk he overhears from the other players, and from what Ogata (well, actually, ESPECIALLY from what Ogata, AKA the man with the sports car and a different "lady" every night, has outright told him) morning afters were awkward -- whether or not you had been humping and grunting and then rising to a climax with ones' eternal rival.
The first morning after ... Akira rather not be reminded of that one. The first time itself had been awkward, painful, and they both had felt clumsy as they struggled to map out the new territory of their expanded desire. They had known what it meant to desire on the board, of course, but this whole actually using bodies part ... had proved to be quite ( ... )
