One project ends, another one follows hard on its heels, with no advance warning. But at least we've moved on to projects that can be sensibly completed in normal working hours. Progress!

I may even have caught up on my sleep deficit.

I am sad about Nano. On the one hand, my November suddenly magically frees up. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the buzz of doing it last year, even on the weeks where I was way behind and struggling like crazy to get my wordcount up again. So I'm looking at my friends list sadly and feeling slightly left out.

Next year I must plan better. Though there'll probably still be another Evil Project to muck things up.

Good so far! I've been using a different strategy and trying to write in chronological order instead of jumping around. It seems to be working, especially because it forces me to write "the boring parts", which adds words.
