Diet temptations...

A normal size Cadbury's Creme Egg is 3.5 points. A mini Creme Egg 3 mini Creme Eggs One mini Creme Egg is 1 point. A teensy trivial 50 calories.

Why oh why are the supermarkets already full of Easter eggs in the second week of January, to tempt me away from the straight and narrow? And even worse, why is the points value of a Creme Egg enough ( Read more... )

They certainly re-introduce a food group to my diet that I've been tragically neglecting since November.

The big problem isn't so much the eating of one Creme Egg as the more-ishness of them...

It's the morish mini ones that are my downfall. FOr some reason I can say "no" to a full-size one but manage to convince myself that a whole bag of mini eggs is not nearly so bad!

Well, I succumbed and bought a bag of five mini eggs so I could do my own research. And the WeightWatchers website is a lying liar. They're one point each, not three-for-one. Alas. :-(

Of course, in relative terms, that's still practically fat-free!
