You know you are getting old when...

Last night I used the phrase "I would like to order from the Avon catalogue I saw at the Tupperware party".... *DIES*

I am a 45 year old housewife. :(

There are still Tupperware parties?

Yeah! And they are fun. I dont have any tupperware, butttttt I saw a freezer set and squealed a little bit inside, and now I need to have it. :( I know once I have some, the collection will grow... I saw what happened to my mother!! They bred in the cupboard. (The tupperware did, not my mother)

I remember when I was a kid my mom used to drag me along (cheaper than a sitter) to home interior parties - don't know if you have those. Just think of framed pastoral scenes, candles and various fancy home-themed baubles - and the women would oooooh over everything.

I think my mom phased out Tupperware. I don't recall seeing her with any for a long time.

I don't suppose you could friend me back? :=)

Home interior parties?! The cheek. I hope when you came out she knew it was all her own damn fault for making you hear about interior design all the time? *grin*

Tupperware when youre all around 30 is more fun, you get fun games and laugh a lot, and drink a lot. Its more for hanging out and laughing, and perhaps winning a nifty keyring. Some people are REALLY hardcore about their tupperware... :/

I think when you first added me, I read your page and it was just a bunch of stuff about politics... And I read the news daily already, and am from another country and thought to myself "Hmmm I dont want that on my friends list! SNOOOOORE!" but it looks like you write more than that now *laugh* So cool, yup! I added you back :)
