b) MINI!ANTONY, OH MY GOD YES!
c) I love how fanboy-ish they're all getting over Alexander. It's awesome.
c) I will have absolutely nothing to contribute when it comes to Star Trek, so... sorry in advance. I also don't know much about Alexander (apart from the all-encompassing everyone wants to be like him, oh my god guys, seriously, get over him).
d) OH. MY. LORD. I. LOVE. YOU. I laughed for about five minutes straight at this:
- what did Octy call them? Eh, the rich ones. Patricks, or something like that -
To be perfectly honest, I'm giggling right now as I re-read that and write this...
e) It seems so very like Jed to be giving everyone nicknames - Vic and Tony in particular.
So yeah... very awesome, and I'm most definately looking forward to more!

c) That's fine, I just wanted to toss in Trek because I am an unrepentant fangirl.
d) I had to do that one! I even laughed at it as I was writing it.
e) I proceeded from him shortening Octy's name to him shortening everybody's names, within remote reason.

FAIL.
On a happier note, *squee*
(PS: It's still making me laugh! How is it still making me laugh?!)

Basically, Tony's fanboy reaction is what I would do in his position. Same for Octy, too.
I had to wax poetic on the horses because Jed's a cowboy and I had to have an excuse to bring in how epic Bucephalus is. But yes, I want to own them too.

I just love how the Romans are all fanboying over Alexander, and how jealous Jed's getting. Oh, Jed, just wait till you find out what an eromenos is! And I giggled at "Patricks". ;)
And mini!Mark Antony! I love him already! I want to put him in my pocket and take him home with me! <3 (Lol at "Tony"!) And do I get the impression that we'll be seeing mini!Caesar, as well? Squee!
I can't wait to see this continued! I'll be interested in seeing how Kirk and Spock fit into the mix.

I had to toss in the word eromenos. I use it in emails, occasionally, if I think someone is reading over my shoulder, because most people don't know what one is. Same for the word "catamite."
Of course the Romans are fanboying! I read somewhere once that Caesar wept at the feet of a statue of Alexander because, at the age of 32, he hadn't conquered half of what Alex had. I can only imagine what Caesar'd do if faced down by the man himself!
Yes, mini!Caesar will make an appearance. As shall Calpurnia, Cleopatra, Brutus, Cassius, Portia, Cicero, and Cleo's brother Ptolemy the something-or-other. Because Rome is basically a fricking soap opera in terms of romantic relationships.
I'm still trying to figure out how K&S are going to fit in. I really want to give Uhura a chance to be badass, too, because TOS!verse Uhura doesn't get enough chance to be. And McCoy, whose powers of badassery exceed even the powers of KHAAAAAAN! Seriously, even Khan can't deal with Bones' level of epic.

Haha, that's great! Does it ever get a reaction?
That story rings a bell, actually. Ooh, now I can't wait for Caesar to meet Alexander!
Yay for mini!Republic and all its scandals! I think it was Ptolemy XIII, though there was also the other one, Ptolemy XIV. And did you say Brutus and Cassius? Be still my beating heart. My all-time OTP! Even if you don't put them together, still, mini!Liberatores. :D
My familiarity with TOS is passable, at best, but all the same, yay Uhura and Bones! The epic, it increases. Will there be Scotty?

It's gonna be awesome. Cuz Caesar's kinda old, epileptic, and deaf in one ear.
I could never not put Brutus and Cassius together! It'll provide something for Brutus to angst over, and is there any kind of Brutus besides angsty, brooding Brutus?
Oh, yes, there will be Scotty.
