BUT I FINALLY SAW HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART TWO.

My god, it was good.  Better than good.  As far as chapters of one's childhood drawing to a close go, this one was just fantastic.  I literally grew up with this series, like a lot of people in my generation, and HP was one of my "Gateway Fandoms" -- so seeing the film series end is ( Read more... )

Oh, don't resist the urge to spazz -- I found that the action sequences in that film to be positively orgasmic. But the Trek reference "The needs of the many..." made me nearly scream "NO!" in the theatre. That line belongs to people sacrificing themselves for the good of the many, not people sacrificing others! Plus, it's a huge K/S moment, and you're not allowed to fuck with my K/S moments. Also, Sam and Bee. Just, Sam and Bee. *huggles Sam/Bee moments*

-- I have not seen G1 (beyond that immortal clip of Starscream glomping Megsy)

-- I got into the fandom because of a friend who was sending me robot porn. No lie. She sent me robot porn for several months, and I ate it up.

-- Bayverse Screamer is totally in an abusive relationship. It's all "Honey, I'm home" "Oh, hai, bb" "*smacks a bitch* Make me a sammich!" in RotF, particularly.

-- Indeed, Opty's voice is sex in audio.

-- I don't get it, but I think I loved the action sequences because of the sheer carnage. Happened again on Saturday when I saw X2 for the first time and Pyro started killing cops and exploding police cars. Intensity? Passion? WHY DOES VIOLENCE TURN ME ON???

THOSE ARE ADORABLE. I just finished them. And I went and read her "Hogwarts: A Hedonistic History." I kind of want to marry you for recc'ing this author to me.

O.O

That sounds like a brilliant story. I will look for it too. If I find it I will link you, as long as you do the same.

(As a NY-er by birth and residence, I'm practically already on the line, bb! *kisses*)
