Holy Trinity Blyghburgh. Cathedral of the Marches
Known as the Cathedral of the Marshes, Blythburgh was one of the earliest Christian sites in East Anglia. At the time of the Norman Conquest Blythburgh was part of the royal estate and had one of the richest churches in Suffolk, possibly a Saxon Minster, with two daughter churches.

Ely Cathedral
One of the sunny day we traveled to Cambridgeshire. And we visited the Ely Cathedral. Cathedral was founded in 670! by St. Etheldreda, a Saxon princess from East Anglia. I let pictures speak for the experience since it is not easy to describe all this wonderful and intricate architecture!

I have finished reading the book of freelance writer John Vaillant "The Tiger". Of particular interest to Vaillant are stories that explore collisions between human ambition and the natural world. Big Bend Adventure
I decided to put some information about surroundings, where we spent our time out of the park borders. We lived in hotel that had pretty thin walls, did not have TV (it was good:-) but we had everything we needed for comfortable living: water, bed and electricity.

Sunset in Sotol Vista Overlook
So far I am not sure how much I will be able to tell about Big Bend, but I try. First of all it is one of the 4th US desert named Chihuahuan Desert, Rio Grand River is the boundary between US and Mexico, so I was saying Hi to Mexico for numerous times on our trip. Came back from magical desert:-)
We came back from magical, magnificent, wonderful Big Bend National Park. I did not have any idea how great desert could be. Sotols, lechuguilla, creosots, prickly pears, javelinas, Rio Grand River, Chisos and Sierra del Carmen mountains, silence, colorful sunsets, hot springs... if only summer would not be so cruel there... oh ... wow...
