Went into work today mostly voiceless and tired, not to mention upset stomach. Told my boss I was sick, and when she asked if I wanted to go home I said YES! Why did it take until after I quit to get a backbone about this? Of course I was probably most contagious on Tuesday, and I was there anyway. *sigh ( Read more... )

Ah, lovey, I hope you feel better soon. I'm glad you're home resting, but much better not to be sick at all. I'd try giving you a call but with the whole no voice thing, I should probably wait, huh?

I'm home today too, though I fully intend to go in tomorrow. I actually feel ok, but I still can barely talk. Or, I can talk but only for a couple minutes at a time before my voice disappears again. J. is home too. I tried to carry on a phone conversation last night and was only minimally successful, but hopefully we can chat soon :)
