OOOO, good luck with both taxes and antibiptic! And your panels are really becoming professional, you know that?

Thank you, I'll be doing my best as regards the taxes. First we'll eat lunch, so hopefully we'll be in a good frame of mind. :)

And thank you too, for saying my panels are improving! ^_^ I figured if I kept on working consistently, improvement would happen, I'm so tickled it is noticeable. *sproings* I've been putting these up as full pages on my DeviantArt account so they will be easier to read.

Good luck on those taxes!

Hmm... the plot thickens. Evil doings afoot, or a practical joke gone too far?

And the gal in the middle panel looks familiar.. <3

Thanks! Got our paperwork and files from last year found, yay! Step one is always mise en place as the chefs say.

I'd pick choice A out of the two of them. 0_O

And gee, that gal in the panel *does* look a tad familiar. Hee!

You've got taxes, I've got the flu... this doesn't seem to be the world's greatest week, does it? (I stick Nicolai with the taxes; it's only fair, he's the one who earned the money... :))

Taxes... flu... hmm, what to choose, what to choose... :D Considering all the "excitement" this past week, I think we did OK. Alas, I'm the only one around here willing to tackle the taxes, so it's me and Turbotax or we go to an accountant. Fortunately both mom and I have relatively uncomplicated tax needs.

Ah yes, what would we do without Turbotax?

Probably get audited. Or else need to file amended returns. So far, so good! Finished mine last night and only owed $47. I can hear my dad chuckling with glee at my being near-0, which was always his goal. He believed you shouldn't let the government have a penny more than they were owed.

...erm, that would definitely be my reaction. Because I should have. And please note, I will now be checking my jacks before I operate them... every time... (damn perfectionism). Oh, who's the lady in the first panel, with the cat? She looks familiar, but I can't place her...

Oh noes on the antibiotics! Such a pain when they go wrong... Hope S'mores is back on his feet (paws? :P) soon.

Heh, yup, your IK-self will be a stickler for safety, even if the "unloaded cannon" turns out to be a Cryxian prank or somesuch. Seems like if a person becomes a wizard/warcaster, perfectionism for certain things would almost be part of the job-description. The lady in the first panel is Professor Linnea, our own linmeister and her familiar Jasper. She was teaching us Spell Control class. :D

S'mores is in great shape, I'm only hoping I can corral him tomorrow to get his checkup. Right now, he's eating and then scampering off to either defend his territory from a young tom who keep sniffing around, or to Kill Things like birds, mice, squirrels, etc.

Aww, poor scared Jasper. Yay, Prof. Linnea makes a cameo appearance! :D
Who's the hot guy in the panel with her?

That looks like Cryxian green glow to me! *ominous music* "Hello, Order of Illumination? We need a Detect Undead spell down at the North Quad..."

Jasper is having a trying day, given the noise and the falling plaster. :D

Um, yes, that IS a bit of an ominous green glow, isn't it? Heh-heh.

And yep, Prof. Linnea returns! The hot guy is Allister Caine, being very much himself at the moment. >D

Thought this might be amusing at least:

I am most expressly not suggesting that I think you need it!

Heh, webcomic classes. *chuckle* I think I've already made most of the prime errors, and discovered a few new ones along the learning-curve. But it sure has been a lot of fun trying to regain some long-fallow skills and master new ones. :D
