I can't believe that! Why don't they give it to Cats Rescue? I know there is such a place! What horrible people! I hope they have their visas denied and have to come back to England to all the neighbours who know they killed their cat.

We would take him in an instant (even though long hairs bother my allergies more) but Scooter is terrified of other cats after her bullying experiance.
I'm glad they found someone to take it. I was in a bit of a panic to find a home for my cat before I moved overseas -- but then I only had three weeks lead time -- they most probably had more! I've only had to put down one cat, but he bit people, and wouldn't stop pooing in the bathtub (easy fix there though, just shut the bathroom door -- oddly the ex husband never managed to figure that one out), so yes he was quite psycho and couldn't really be re-homed, but I bawled my eyes out over it. :(
