We organized the garage and cleaned out the pantry and freezer.
We will be getting a tax return large enough to pay off a whole credit card.
We got back our escrow money from the old mortgage and between that an skipping the first month of mortgage (rolled into refi) we can very very nearly pay off another. That will lower our monthly minimum payments enough that we can really snowball the paying down. Whew!
All of my friends' kids have had fevers or GI bugs for weeks and Milo just got a sniffle/cough. That is awesome!!!
I went to a kinky party yesterday and got to get zapped with a violet wand, got to flog someone with my full strength and they asked for more, got to do CBT on another painslut, and generally had an awesome time. Enough that I'm sore from exertion today!
I also got an awesome foot massage from one of the service subs. I win!
My day will not be truly awesome til I see a picture of the purple velvet torte... Just saying.
Avocado eaten at peak ripeness, and I got to shelve books at a real live public library yesterday. That blissed me out like I'd been to a spa. Mmm shelving. I acknowledge that I am a big nerd.
Hee. I'll take a picture when it comes out, but I don't know how well the color will show. The pic of the original recipe, here: http://www.elanaspantry.com/purple-velvet-torte/ isn't too purple. But OMG the batter tasted AWESOME. I have a feeling I'm going to repeat this one for the (eventual) chocolate party. It may be an excuse to buy one of those funky mazey brownie pans to make it easily portionable. If it comes out remotely as good as I expect, I'm going to make a whole separate blog post on it & my modifications.
And I can totally see having fun with shelving. Pretty cool. YAY NERDS!
