OKAY SO I HAVE OBVIOUSLY NOT SEEN R2 but omg I have got to say -- from what you've told me of Shirley and her mental state there, this nails it. It's the pace and rhythm you've set, here -- it's so almost-frenetic and panicked and feverish that it's exactly the sorts of things I could imagining running through her head. (For a while, she just ignores them, thinking they’ll disappear just like before-but before was when Lelouch made her forget, Lelouch who was Lulu who was Zero who kissed her and killed her father in the same day-and smiles without a care. But then they play out like looping music, never-ending and always there. -- This bit I love in particular, simply because of that. ♥)

I love the way you titled it, even, as well -- the breaks and hyphens set the stage so perfectly for the rest of what's to come. :3 ♥
