I think I'll stay up late tonight after class and get ahead of things so that on Friday I can just kind of kick back and relax. I've really wanted to get some things done, you know, like cleaning my room, redoing my icons, changing some layouts, and updating sites. It would be nice to sit down and start drawing fanart again

Mhm, that's the one thing they keep drilling into our heads. Stand at the door when they come in and comment on their clothes, new haircuts, conversations you hear, etc. They even assigned this goofy book with these pictures of teachers in the dorkiest poses talking to students. It's great.

I'll be teaching history. Probably World though I'm thinking I'd like to take a stab at Government.

This year's English teacher...

She had an entire period of us introducing ourselves by saying our names, and something wierd about us.

I am now labelled as "Odd One"/"Strange Child". It is my 'box'. It makes me giggle. :D

Another thing she did was tell use exactly what changes to the course and the new rules, and why they were implementing them.

Also, another teacher (History. He reminds me of House.) is vveeerry witty. But not in the derogative way. He's nice, and his lessons consist of giving us notes and talking.

So here's his trick:

He gives you notes. Say, 60% of what you need to know.

He tells you the other 40%, so you have to listen.

And it'd be cool if you brought in items to demonstrate and stuff. ^^

Some of the good teachers I have had are the ones that really involve you, though. It's easier to remember sometihng when you actually do it, instead of just sitting there and being read to.
