"Music and Dance show the perfection of the image. They lift up images to the higher worlds and help purify the images. Visual arts, however, like drawing, painting, and photography, are at a disadvantage. They are creating images of Fallen Images, so move away from the higher forms, not towards. "

Interesting discussion. :)

I am not sure I totally follow. I see what you are saying about the visual arts, although I am not sure that I agree because sometimes the image someone paints is from a dream or something in someone's imagination and it comes to life through the magic of the artist. It is like having an idea or desire in your mind and heart and moving energy and using the power of intention to bring it to life and reality - which is basically you as the conduit for divine energy being brought to life.

But where I don't follow is what makes music and dance perfection? - What if someone is singing someone else's song or dancing someone else's choreography?

That's what I am referring to when I talk about reaching the essence behind the image. I think that is what magic truly is. Visual Art without vision or dream is of the fallen image, whereas, those who reach beyond bring the True Image into clearer focus.

Hmmm... I'm not sure. I'll think about this and reply again later.

I posted a new post about art that I think explains it better, and includes the thoughts I had since the original post.
