Whitcoulls currently has the first three series of BattleStar Galactica, plus the mini-series, selling at $89.00. I only have the first series in hard-copy which alone cost me about $50. Very tempting! Should I do it? Tell me, please!

Yeah, you probably should. :) I thought the series was a lot better than the mini series. But... by the time season 2 was available my interest had waned. For $90 I'm tempted to take a punt that season 2 and 3 are worth watching.

Don't do it. If you've already seen them and if it's part of some boxed set then no, you should not do it.

I say this because the complete boxed set will be out after the end of season 4. No point in buying season 1 on dvd, and then an incomplete box set, and then season 4 separately.

Be patient, make it a 48th present for yourself next year :-)
