But we can't properly digest vegetable matter! All that waste cellulose passing though the body, gumming up your appendix as it tries to do what it used to do before it became vestigal, whats the point?

And baby spinach? How could you? You cruel, heartless, beast! They're just babies! Can't you hear them scream when they go in the pot?

(Seriously, you're probably right!) :)

Darling, You are becoming more metro-sexual every day! Home cooking, what next? Seriously, though, it's great to see you're doing more stuff with food and a kitchen.

The addition of skinned knuckle (via blood sacrifice) is a special ritual and is not to be taken lightly. I have heard of unwitting cooks who have opened a portal to the demon-realm of Quar'toth and unleashed the insatiable Horde of Succubi in similar circumstances.

Yes - green capsicum and mushrooms and more vegetables will give extra colour to this dish. This will also please the Demon Overloard S'gorthar, AKA Patron of Otherworldly Healthy Eating.

Good lad.

"Darling" ????

It's vaguely disturbing that an unmanned air combat vehicle is speaking of demons and calling me darling... :)

On the other hand, that seems like a great premise for the start of a roleplaying game!

Or, you could save yourself the effort: if you look in the supermarket, you'll find punnets of pomodoro, frequently with bits (like mushrooms) already in them. Not as good as something you cook yourself, but a lot less effort. Cook pasta, nuke sauce, apply, add cheese (parmesan cood, cheddar OK if barbaric) to taste.

(I tried making MattM's "vodka pasta" tonight; added olives and onions, forgot the dash of cream. Works very well).
