Holy crap!! He's everything Gary Stevens said he was! He just *cruised* by Medaglia D'oro in the stretch of the Pacific Classic to win in a hand ride by 4 lengths, and he was running on the wrong lead through most of the race. Jockey Julie Krone is now the first female to win a $1 million race in the US. (I guess the Belmont wasn't $1 million purse

Click on Race 5 to see the replay. :-) Candy Ride is the horse with the white silks that runs in second most of the way. MDO has the red and blue silks and leads through most of the race. Fleetstreet Dancer has light green silks, and Milwaukee Brew had the dark (black? silks. :-)

I was sure Medaglia had all the momentum and was going to kick on with it, then Candy Ride just found a completely different gear. He was amazing.
