Theresa and I went to see Pixar's new film Up last night; I'd meant to see it earlier but somehow missed that it was out. Once again they've outdone themselves

We're always thinking about what the dogs would say. Most of the time it's things like "Mommy's crotch is so deliciously smelly!"

A few years ago some Japanese company actually produced a 'dog translator' that was supposed to allow owners to see their dogs' emotions. This led to a great deal of snarkiness on Fark at the time and spawned a cliche - it's why every story about dogs on Fark now ends with the comment, 'your dog wants steak.'

From the previews I just died over that. I could just hear the waste of technology were we to fit Emma with one of those things.

I definitely want to see this. We were waiting beyond the first weekend because of the hordes of children, but maybe this will be our reward to ourselves once Dad is on the way home. Or we might sneak it in one night this week.
