Oh, I know I am. I think I might be the only person in fandom who's not head-over-heels for The End. I liked it as a whole, and as a concept, but (even before I fell in love with the guy) I think Mark just plays a better, more menacing, more charming Lucifer. And Jared played him as Sam-possessed-by-Lucifer-trying-to-act-like-Sam-to-gain-Dean's-trust/sympathy. And I just wasn't feeling it.
LOL, Your first sentence had me cracking up, and my BIL assumed I was laughing at Misha again. And he was like "WHY DON'T YOU AND MISHA JUST GET A ROOM ALREADY?" and I was like "What, no. XD" And then I was like "Wait, I mean yes."
Hmm.
Yeah, I agree Jared's kinda not good at playing Lucifer. But I might just be saying that cause I love Marksha like burning. BURNING.
When my friends and I saw Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer there was a collective wince throughout the room, because we knew that there was no way that Jared could trump that. In The End Jared has the confrontation, the suit, the whole set-up to emphasize the fact that he is Lucifer - and his performance was still subpar to Mark's.
Mark is just so damn good as Lucifer. He has charisma (in a twisted sense), menace, and a creepy calm demeanor which exudes power and confidence. He is Luficer. That's it.
