So I've been talking to this guy on the contending for the faith forum for the past two days.  I was using an RP account I'd set up the night before to play as Lucifer with my friend.  We created four accounts total.  "Luci" was the one I used to post on the forum because I didn't want to give these people my real name.

This sounds pretty fascinating - but I have to disagree with your assertion that all early Christians were Roman Catholic. I would argue that Roman Catholicism actually came to be *because* of all the other Christian sects that were active and flourishing, such as Gnostic Christianity. The definition of what was cannon and what was heretical came in the 400s AD, I believe. Have you seen The Nag Hammadi Library? Or Elaine Pagels' "The Gnostic Gospels?"
