Snow I like... but you can HAVE ice... which is what we have...

We had fun on the Chicago Shopping Trip, even though it started snowing, then raining about 2:00. We mostly went to Macys, the German Market, and the Art Institute Shop. We kind of got soaked and the kids were a bit cold sometimes. The trip home was a bit hairy as it had become an ice rain. I'm glad that we had really good bus drivers. The high

We got snow and they said that the Chicago area was going to mostly get an icy mix.

We are... and it's 48 degrees here right now... so NO MORE ICE! :-)))

It was terrible! I am afraid of ice because of the two (or is it 3?) times I have fallen in the school parking lots. They didn't exactly carry me... but they were on both sides of me with me holding on TIGHT.

I hate ice, but we don't have to worry too much about it way down South...only once in a while. I'd have to be carried, too!

Ugh! Motion sickness is THE worst. It takes forever to go away.

They didn't EXACTLY carry me, but they were on both sides of me with me holding on very tightly. I'm afraid of falling again. Those school lots have been a real hazard for me. I think I have fallen three times now. I really hurt my feet. I would love having no ice... ever! (except cubes of course - *hee*)

Oh and... no, no pictures. I SHOULD HAVE but it was cold and windy and then snowy and rainy and I just did not think about it.

I am so glad you were able to go on the Chicago shopping trip, and you got back home safely. Ice is the worst! We are supposed to get snow late today and into tomorrow. I hope it will only be snow.

I'd been wondering how you were faring in the city. The HS German Club was at Christkindlemarket yesterday also. I just read the enws about the Purdue ice hockey team's accident on the roads. Horrible stuff.
