It is really nice, especially during the week... and bad storms. Those remaining huge pines are a bit scary since they snap off readily.

Oh yuck! I guess that milk chocolate is not quite so bad for them as dark chocolate. These bars were dark chocolate.

Oh what a wonderful time you all had. The cottage is so comfy adn serene looking sitting by the waters edge. I have always wanted a pontoon boat. Long as I can be under the shade to keep out of the sun it would be fun. My uncle had a really large one we used to take out ont he BlackWarrior River to party. We would turn the radio on and dance and have a great time. I miss those times.

The water where you live is absolutely gorgeous...looks like the ocean.

The parts that look like an ocean are Lake Schafer. It's really pretty.

I'm glad you like the cottage. We do too, of course! My husband's father built the place in 1940 with the help of HIS father.

I was extremely sad when the pontoon was sold. I still get a pang seeing it on the river. We had a lot of fun in that little one! I liked the shade too. Our Jet Boat does have a roof that can be put up too. But the pontoon was very comfy and just fun to relax on! It was also very hard to get in and out of the water.

Whatever it is you have, it's certainly the ultimate in expression of the best kind. Some of the photo's your Mom puts out there totally crack me up. Maybe it's just you are a fun-loving spirit and it shows in your photo's. :)
