Speaking of carpets .... I went to a Baby Shower at a Country Club last Sunday .... The place was rather .... EMPTY. I was told that the shower was the LAST event for about 2 weeks, because they were ripping up all the carpeting and relacing it ....

HAHAHA ... I probably shouldn't have mentioned it ... but (kidingly) asked who I could see about getting a piece for my living room and stairs .... since it looked BRAND NEW compared to my carpet ... and the color was perfect!!!

That didn't go over well ... they immediately started to show me all the worn spots. Well DUH ... the hallways could have easily been replaced without ripping up THOUSANDS of sq yd's of gorgeous carpeting. BUT ... we're talking Country Club here ... so that says it all.

Hummmmmm.... we need new carpet.... too bad we are not members of a country club.... :-)
