This one was actually pretty fun, and came out really well. Typically, when I set out to cook something, I look up a few recipes on the Internet, take an average or best-fit approximation of those recipes with what I have, and then add an extra ingredient or several to my own tastes. I'll have to try that tomato-cream sauce, it looks good, and a great excuse to get some fennel. Thanks for the yogurt friendly substitution since I'm also more likely to have that on hand than heavy cream.

By the way, your photos look tasty... except the yogurt container. While I also store all my food in yogurt containers, it does not help with the appetizing-ness. :P

If you want to substitute for the chicken, you can try farmer's cheese/queso fresco/queso de frier/a similar mild white cheese, as these are all roughly equivalent to paneer. Will I think less of you for doing so? Inexplicably, yes. But that is another option. :-P

As far as the yogurt container, it was mainly a consequence of the fact that "1 cup yogurt" happened to be "all of the yogurt that is left in that one container". It seemed silly to dirty a real dish for marinating, even if a picture was later necessary for an Important Illustrative Point.
