Neil was curled up on the floor next to the bed, he hadn't even been able to think clearly enough to get up on the bed.
Todd's cry of his name yanked him awake and he startled up to his knees.
"Wha? Todd....Todd!" He called with soft urgency, reaching for his lover's face, cupping it softly. Dark eyes swam with fear and worry as he stroked back slightly damp hair.
Todd turned toward the voice, and just hugged Neil tightly. "I'm sorry, Neil. Please don't leave me. I should have told you how I felt. It was all my fault."
Todd murmered, "I know, but you shouldn't have to. It's not right." You'll have to fight for what you're building here. "I have to stand up for myself, for us. Have to fight..."
