Well, thank you. It was a challenge to write (though I suppose it's got to be!) but I'm pleased with the result. Hopefully there should be more of these on the way! :D

This is absolutely lovely. There's so many fics that focus on Rose after Journey's End, and while many of them are great, it's wonderful to see one about the proper Doctor after Journey's End, even if it's one that nearly made me cry. Beautiful writing and imagery and emotion evoking. Gorgeous piece, with so much said in relatively few words.

Wowee, thank you so much! I suppose you're right; I haven't really seen any just-Doctor post JE fics, aside from ones that are to reunite the Doctor with Rose. Which I guess this is too, in a weird kind of way xD
