Oh...wow. This was really intense and all kinds of creepy but awesome awesome awesome. I love how it's all in the third person until the last bit - what a sucker punch finish! My skin was goosegumped.

Brilliant!

Hoorya goosebumped! XD \o/

I'm glad you like it. It came to me in a weird moment of inspiration; it seemed a bit weird, but meh, I liked it :P

Goosebumps indeed =)

In all seriousness though, this was lovely. Really dark and painful and honest. You've done a wonderful job on this so thank you to you and your muse for writing and sharing it.

It seriously just came out in a minute or two. But I'm glad you appreciate it (:

Mmm, dark and different, especially the take on Rose. I like the shift into first person - it's very unusual but it works.

Yeah, I'm not usually prone to thinking of the Doctor this way... but people do seem to forget he's not just some puppy. He's a terrible power of things beyond our imagination, most of which I think he keeps hidden because he's a afraid of it. He's allowed to be a bit emo now and then XD

That was intense. It sent a shiver down my spine. Not the usual take on the Doctor, but I rather enjoyed it in it uniqueness. He can be a dark force and I like that you've explored that part of him here.

Yes, exactly, dark force indeed. There's no where else he could constantly draw his courage from, really, I don't think. Glad you enjoyed it, though! It wasn't supposed to be intense, it just popped out of my head one day. Heh.

That puts a spin on the ending of Journey’s End I didn’t think possible. Wow.

(Part of me, though, thinks that Davros has much to do with why he thinks this way, because I am almost certain he didn’t before Davros got his (metaphorical) hands on him.

I’m memming this one, for sure.

Haha, it does a little, doesn't it? I wasn't really thinking of that in particular when I wrote it, but yes... he seems a bit evil, actually :P

And, yeah, Davros... I think he just spoke out loud the Doctor's constant thoughts. Brought them to the surface, so to speak. Poor bugger.

He seems almost like a villain in this. Never pictured him like that (except maybe when he was in his 6th incarnation and was a big jerk). I know he's had a deep dark side to him, an unimaginable burden of sadness and guilt, ever since the Time War, and I know he's been accused of being a killer, but I hadn't imagined that he's resigned himself to such a characterization.

This was surprising and intriguing. Definitely something to think about.

Hey, uh, you still working on Trials & Tribulations?

Yeah, I more like to think of it as an anti hero. Not evil, per se, but he doesn't always do the things he does for the right thing, as it says. I think the Time War really messed him up, and the happenings of JE more so. Poor little fellow. He's not sure where he stands any more :P

Also, yes, I am XD

Oooooh, an anti-hero... like Gregory House! I get it, I get it. Yeah, I can see something of that in the Doctor, and you've definitely gone the right route by making this an internal revelation. This incarnation in particular certainly loves his chipper exterior.

Also, WOO!
