I have several WIPs up this time; so whichever is chosen, I vow to either complete or add 10,000 words.

(1)
Back Again, Harry?
Fandom(s): Harry Potter
Description: "Harry makes a different choice in King's Cross, and is given the double-edged gift of a second chance." A time travel AU.

Status: 35,050 words as of June 11, 2008; archived at backagainharry
Rating: PG-13; mostly gen

(2)
Adventures in Rome
Fandom(s): B:tVS, The Mummy Returns
Description: "Ever since the Year of Glory, strange men in robes had rubbed Buffy's nerves the wrong way." Wolfram and Hart raises Imhotep from the dead. That's about all that goes according to plan.

Status: 11,250 words as of Nov 24, 2007; archived at my website
Rating: PG-13; gen & het

(3)
Book's LegacyFandom(s): Firefly, themes from B:tVS ( ... )

Well, I'm certainly hoping that a particular story will get chosen. 8-)

(1)
Fandom: Blake's 7
Description: An AU where Vila leaves the Liberator after City at the Edge of the World. The story follows what he does and how his absence affects the rest of the crew for the rest of season 3. Along the way, Vila encounters Soolin--and Dorian.
Type: gen & some het
Rating: PG13

(2)
Fandom: Blake's 7
Description: A PGP in which Vila is officially dead, but is rescued by a farming family on Gauda Prime. There's a condensed snippet here.
Type: gen & some het
Rating: PG13

(3)
Fandom: Blake's 7

What about that Vila and Tarrant "Bolt" one you mentinoned once? *whines politely*

It's not Vila and Tarrant! 'Lightning Bolt' is number 1. :-) Vila leaves because of Tarrant and Avon though and there are repercussions on the LIb so there'd be some Tarrant. This is a monster though which I might not finish in the time given.

Aaaah, I thought it was Vila and Tarrant on the run from the world or something. Joining forces in a delivery van! Ahahahahha. Fair enough though. I'll wait for it another time.

I'm looking through my list of fic ideas now and just sort of fretting. XD

For each plot-bunny...

Fandom: Anita Blake
Description: This is pretty much a mystery, more in the vein of the earlier books. So, serial killers, magic, and vampire and werecritter politics more than sex and relationships. Set sometime after Incubus Dreams.
Type: I'd call it basically gen, though there are definitely het elements based on the canon relationships and slashy subtext consistent with the books.
Rating: R

Fandom: Stargate: SG-1/Stargate: Atlantis
Description: This is a massive AU where the Ori successfully invade Earth while some of the SGC manages to escape to Atlantis. This covers more than 4 years in the life of Atlantis.
Type: The relationships are secondary to the plot but there are both het and slash pairings.
Rating: PG-13 to a soft R

Fandom: Moonlight
Description: A future fic where Beth takes matters into her own hands and finds a vampire who will turn her. Things go very very badly.
Type: Het with some fairly heavy slashy subtext
Rating: Hard R

Fandom: ( ... )

OK, I've decided that I could almost certainly get interested in several of these unused ideas from last year, if prodded to do so. Plus, I think everything on this list I can write short if it comes to a time crunch. :) So...

(1)
Fandom: Doctor Who
Description: AU from the TV movie in which the Master succeeds in taking over the Doctor's body, but the Doctor's mind is still in there somewhere.
Type: I was going to say this one'd be gen, but it seems likely to at least have slashy overtones.
Rating: Um... PGish? PG-13, maybe?

(2)
Fandom: Doctor Who
Description: AU in which the Doctor succeeds in curing the Master's crazy and then wishes he hadn't. A short piece of pure angst.
Type: Probably gen.
Rating: PG-ish.

(3)
Fandom: Doctor Who
Description: An expansion of the drabble to be found at here, only with the Eighth Doctor subsititued for the Ninth. Basically, an Eight/Leela encounter that takes place immediately before the destruction of Gallifrey. I've actually got most ( ... )

1. (Indiana Cregg)
Fandom: The West Wing
Description: A semi-comic, semi-serious rip-off of the Indiana Jones movies, starring the fab four from the West Wing. CJ Cregg as the intrepid adventurer, Toby Ziegler as her reluctant companion, Sam Seaborn as the naively adventurous journalist who tags along and Josh Lyman as (I haven't worked out this dynamic yet!) either the 'damsel' in distress or the 'native' guide. Adventures abound.
Type: Gen with a side of slash.
Rating: up to R, I'd have thought, no higher.

2. (Dupont Circle)
Fandom: The West Wing
Description: Sam Seaborn is a male prostitute, Toby Ziegler is his client. One of those difficult love stories. This has been sitting on my harddrive for over three years now and I'd really like to get it done.
Type: Slash.
Rating: Probably up to NC-17.

3. Like A Bright Exhalation in the Evening
Fandom: The West Wing
Description: An ongoing canon-based series, now up to its eleventh chapter. I'd be committing to another two ( ... )
