Sylar: the nuts and bolts

11:50 PM 5/25/07 · For the most part we're only aware of a few of the abilities Sylar possesses. He largely just goes with the telekinesis for the most part, it was only towards the end he started cranking out some of the others. Still, I don't think we know all he can do

First evidence that not only can he take powers but he can enhance them. Also see this in how fast he mastered Ted's ability

I don't think I would call that enhancing.. I just think since he's figuring out how they work thanks to his intuition power, he's got a better handle on them.

Also, when Hiro went back to save the waitress, he stopped Sylar killing her but she died (of a brain tumor?) anyway. So he shouldn't have this power.

Only enhancing I've seen, or think I have, involved the telekinesis. He got it from that one guy who could barely control it, if you'll recall.

The waitress didn't die of a brain tumor, though she would've eventually. She died because Sylar opened her up and did that little voodoo he does so well. That's why Hiro went into the past in the first place, to try and save her before Sylar killed her

Peter and Sylar both have Ted's power. Does this mean they're always putting out low level radiation like he did?

Probably only when either of them have the power active. With Ted it was his primary ability.
