Damn, I wish the show's depictions of Sam's and Dean's post-Hell problems could come close to fanfic like this. This was great, and does justice to just how traumatic Hell should have been, short of the guys ending up in psych wards. And I could see Dean going to these measures with Sam, too, for the rest of their codependent lives. :)
I was really really miffed about the way they just kind of wiped the whole hell issue away without every really adressing it in the magnitude it deserved. I mean Sam spend AT LEAST 100 years with two arch angels. He should have been a complete mess, psychotic and on edge, instead of simply sleep deprived and seeing things. I mean, there were moments on the show I loved, especialls episode 7x02, but it just felt like they chickened out of really changing the character in a realistic way. And I mean, 100 years, shoukdn't Sam have learned some serious intell while being there? Lucy sure always seemed like a talker, yet sam has nothing new learned about angels or enochian or anything...well, that's tv i guess
