I already reviewed this over on FF.net but I wanted to take a moment to tell you again how much I loved this. From start to finish, it was perfect. I've always felt this kind of vibe between Beckett and Espo and can completely believe that they would let themselves go here. It's a release but also another way to punish themselves. Excellent piece.

I really liked this. I remember thinking as I was watching An Embarrassment of Bitches that Beckett and Esposito actually had some chemistry, and that it was a shame they couldn't explore that. This story fits that craving so well. It's real and honest and just so them. I especially love the bookends of them making one kind of deal at the bar, and then later another kind of deal altogether at the precinct.

I have no idea when I started looking at Esposito and Beckett and thinking about them, but it was at some point this season, maybe Kill Shot? Either way I just wanted to see if I could make it make sense and it seemed to work.

Also yay the two deals were obviously connected haha, I wasn't sure!
