Absolutely loved this - especially this part:

"She hated how they could do that. Bounce from friends to something else in a matter of seconds. It had always been like that with Buffer, that on the surface they could be best friends, but beneath it all there was something else. Something deeper, more sinister, something neither of them could hide. And it always came out at exactly the wrong moments."
