I can't afford to get wet socks at the rate I am, I'm gonna have to do laundry more often and I'm far too lazy for that...

Or I could just buy new shoes minus holes in the soles.

My shoes that don't have holes in the soles left my feet soaked today... blah. There's no guarantee that new shoes will save you from the trauma of wrinkled, soaked feet.

Bring on the dry stuff. I don't think we Melbourne types are born to deal with rain...

i would love to be able to go out in a pair of jeans and not end up with wet feet and wet jean bottoms!

i normally like the rain but would just love a couple of sunny days to ry it up every now and then
