I think it would have taken a while to get everything going. I really liked from mid-season onwards. Stronghold's my fav ep. I always said that when Stargate gets dark, it gets good.

I was waiting for them to blow the ship up. They couldn't name it that and not blow it up. "It's a Greek tragedy!" I'm sure gonna miss it. :(
