College is very scary, but college is also very amazing, very fun, and very everything! Your whole first year will be spent settling down and finding your groove at Stanford. Be true to yourself, and have a faaaaabulous time!

It is SO weird to move. I still look around, and think...so how did this end up being my life? you will be fine though. dont make any big judgements until you get into the swing of it. And everybody is in the same position as you, so you can go up to pretty much anybody and be like "hi, i'm anneka! who are you and where are you from?" and they will be cool with it too. sometimes it's awkward, but 95 % of the time, you can chitchat. Also, make sure you have good comforting music for night. Whatever is best for you. I like "a funny thing happened on the way to the forum." because it is cheery, and distracting because it is a story. also, you are absolutely lovely, which makes it a lot easier to make friends. I miss you!!
