New face-ups!

These are all head shots, because two weeks ago I gave face-ups to two of my floating heads. I then discovered I didn't have any black paint left (it was moldy :bleh: ) and it proved to be interesting mixing other colours. Red, brown, green and blue makes an interesting grey-purple

Very nice done on the face-ups. You don't have to worry your Ark looks like my Ark at all. He has your twist. The mustache really suits him.
You know, without black the face-ups have more rl dept. I have to give it a try too ;) (I use to much black in face-up )XD

It took me a while to visualise something else than your Ark and that's also something that I like. One day I was sketching some eyebrows on the blank head with pencil to try some expressions and then I just scribbled a moustache. BOOM. It all fell together. :P

I did miss black to darken my colours, so both face-ups are a bit light.

The Ark head reminds me of silent movie villains- I could totally believe he left a girl tied to some railroad tracks! LOL
(And YES that was a complement!)
Your first head- I LOVE the delicate work around the eyes- and the natural look to the lips I really like but can't seem to do myself.

I was kind of going for Gomez from the Adams Family, but silent movie villain is okay too. ;)

For the lips I looked at a lot of other face-ups that I liked. I'm still trying to figure out how other people do their face-ups. :D

Kliff is a beautiful name, nothing wrong with keeping the sculpts name =3 Also, I love his intense green eyes. He's a real pretty boy!

I also like the face-up you did on Raaf, but the moustache looks a little bit too high on his lips. I do like the lines under his eyes, it makes his face a little rounder. He's definitely a whole other character than holyvirus's Ark =3 Bushy eyebrows!

I like the name Kliff too and since I don't have a pre-existing character for him, I guess he can keep it. XD

Today I got to hold Raaf next to Ark and I can see a lot of differences between which parts are accentuated and which are not. The bags underneath Raaf's eyes are very prominent as I was going for the look of someone who has worked hard over the years and didn't sleep much as a result. HV's Ark has barely no lines under his eyes.
I'll think about the moustache when I redo his face-up (which I hope won't be soon. XD )

Aa your Ark turned out really intresting, I somehowe see him smoking and beeing someone from Spain (or Mexico :D)
