I had two hours to kill in between two presentations at the education day for secondary school pupils interested in Biology. These are taken in front (or behind, depends on your opinion) the Went building, home of the biology faculty. You may spot a bit of the "ponskaart" in one picture

Ludowic reminds me a little of David Bowie as Yarred in Labyrinth. I really love that character. He is a less 80's version though, lol.

With these dolls you're bound to go for the androgynous look sooner or later. There are very few boy/man dolls in this hobby that don't look a bit girly or feminine in the face. I guess it's the Asian/manga/anime influence and that they are still dolls.
My sister's Ark is one of the few manly dolls out there.

In case of these two dolls their feminine looks come from the following:
Derrick (the one with the jeans) is actually a girl doll head on a boy doll body. I made the face a bit darker around the eyes and blushed under the cheekbones to give him a more masculine appearance, but there's only so much blush can do. But I like that look for a young boy that still needs to grow up a bit.
Ludowic (the other one) is indeed my David Bowie like flamboyant exuse for doing crazy things. My other dolls are happy about that, because that means they'll get normal clothes and normal face-ups.
